H.E. Mr. Daniel Owassa gave a warm welcome to Secretary-General and spoke highly of the contributions our foundation has made towards the international economic exchanges and cooperation. He also said that he had looked for the continuous friendship and a deeper cooperation. Furthermore, he mentioned that the Republic of Congo is a developing country and their most serious issue is about the project financing . Hence he hold a positive and open mind towards the investment. Nowadays they have always been trying to find and export some products, and hope to take this opportunity to source appropriate Chinese partners through our foundation.
In response to H.E. Mr. Daniel Owassa, the Secretary-General Zhang Zongwu made some constructive suggestions. First, Our foundation could organize the promotion sessions with the embassy in order to provide access for Chinese enterprises to get familiar with various projects and investment policies. We also can take enterprises to the Republic of Congo so as to gain more practical investment information. Second, we are glad to accompany H.E. Mr. Daniel Owassa on a nationwide business trip. We believe in this way, the Embassy can also learn more about some qualified Chinese enterprises. Third, referring to the bilateral trade, we have many trade companies to provide strong support. Last, he pointed out that African products exhibition hall is under preparation, through which we can facilitate more cooperation between China and the Republic of Congo.
Finally, this meeting ended in a pleasant atmosphere. It has enhanced the friendly relationship with the Embassy of the Republic of Congo and laid a solid foundation for the future cooperation.
